Last year academy purchased five aircraft, which nearly doubled its training capacity. The newest addition of another Tecnam P2006T Twin now brings the entire fleet to twelve aircraft, used for Ab Initio training. “Currently we have over a hundred students at our academy that are going to need MEP training, therefore, providing sufficient access to multi-engine aircraft is very important, especially for those who are about to graduate with their licenses. This is also a step towards the fulfillment of the planned growth and expansion plans,” comments Egle Vaitkeviciute, CEO of Baltic Aviation Academy.

Tecnam today announced that the production of the first TECNAM P2012 “Traveller” is progressing well on its Experimental Assembly Line (XAL) in Capua, Italy, with roll-out scheduled for Q4 2015. The Tecnam P2012 Traveller is an eleven seat next generation piston engine twin, designed to comply with both FAR part 23 and EASA CS-23.
