Garmin awarded one of their D2 Pilot Watches to the guest who had flown the furthest to reach Augsburg. Despite visitors flying in from Austrian, the Czech Republic, France, The Netherlands, Slovenia and Switzerland, the winner was actually a pilot who had flown from Bremen in Germany itself!

Garmin G500 flight display system fully certified for Tecnam P Twenty Ten
Tecnam announced today that EASA has fully certified an alternative avionic system for the Tecnam P Twenty Ten based on Garmin G500 glass cockpit suite. The state of the art Tecnam P Twenty Ten is the first new single engine, high wing, four-seat, Part 23 certified aircraft in many decades as in now in service with Flight Training Organizations in the Czech Republic, France and Poland as well as private owners in the UK and Spain..

Baltic Aviation Academy expands its fleet with P2006T
Last year academy purchased five aircraft, which nearly doubled its training capacity. The newest addition of another Tecnam P2006T Twin now brings the entire fleet to twelve aircraft, used for Ab Initio training. “Currently we have over a hundred students at our academy that are going to need MEP training, therefore, providing sufficient access to multi-engine aircraft is very important, especially for those who are about to graduate with their licenses. This is also a step towards the fulfillment of the planned growth and expansion plans,” comments Egle Vaitkeviciute, CEO of Baltic Aviation Academy.

Australian Prime Minister with Tecnam Models
