Tecnam Sales And Success At Aero Friedrichshafen 2014
With orders for 12 Tecnam aircraft and deliveries of the both the first Tecnam Astore next-generation LSA and the first Tecnam P2002JF equipped with hand controls for disabled pilots to launch customer Aerobility (UK), the Tecnam teamed enjoyed a very productive time at this year’s Aero Friedrichshafen. The Tecnam team were especially delighted and proud that Professor Luigi Pascale was presented with Flieger’s ‘Award of Honor’ in recognition of his outstanding contribution to General Aviation for over 65 years.

The show gave Tecnam the opportunity to update visitors on the latest developments of its the 11-seater P2012 Traveller program and the recent launch of Tecnam USA Inc. in Sebring, Florida; featuring assembly facilities and a significant upgrade in customer service and support for North American based customers.
Tecnam’s P Twenty-Ten four-seat single engine aircraft was particularly popular with Aero Friedrichshafen visitors, with two versions on show. One with the Garmin G500 avionics suite the other with the Garmin G1000 suite. EASA certification is set for next month.
One of the key aircraft deliveries made at Aero Friedrichshafen by Tecnam, was the first Tecnam P2002JF equipped with hand controls for disabled pilots to launch customer Aerobility (UK). This was delivered directly to the UK from the show.
It was one of a number of special delivery ceremonies that took place, including;
• Tecnam Astore, delivered to the Spanish based launch customer,
• Tecnam P2008JC, delivered to F Air, the Czech based Flight Training Organsations 23rd Tecnam aircraft,
• Tecnam P2006T Twin, delivered to Poland’s, Bartolini Air,
• Tecnam P92 Light, delivered to a customer is Spain.
