The EASA certified Tecnam P2010 was recently accepted by Bartlomiej Walas, Managing Director of Bartolini Air, who flew the aircraft directly from Tecnam’s Capua production facility to Lodz Airport in Poland via a fuel stop in Bad Voslau, Austria.
The total flight lasted 8.05 hrs, partly VFR at FL 090 partly IFR at FL100 (LIDF – LOAV) and FL 110 (LOAV – EPLL).

Mr Walas stated: “This is a very proud day for me and the Bartolini Air team as we are the first Flight Training Organisation to introduce the Tecnam P2010 into service. The introduction of the P2010 is a significant addition to our all Tecnam training fleet that already includes five P2002JF’s and two P2006T Twins”

Bartolini Air has built an enviable reputation amongst European based flight schools by attracting not only European based students but aspiring commercial aviation pilots for Japan, Singapore and Mexico.

The ‘P Twenty Ten’ brings together an advanced technology all carbon fibre fuselage with a metal wing and stabilator based on the best of TECNAM’s recent P2006T Twin and P2008 offerings, this single engine, 4 seat aeroplane has been eagerly anticipated by the General Aviation community.

Professor Luigi Pascale, Tecnam’s award winning President and Head of Design, is especially proud of creating the P2010. “It was 50 years ago that we originally introduce a four-seater single engine high wing aircraft. I am delighted at the response from so many in the General Aviation community, be they private owners or flight schools who have appreciated the benefits of our all new innovative and affordable Tecnam P2010.”
